A thorough cleaning procedure that removes plaque, tartar, and surface stains to maintain healthy teeth and gums. The hygienist uses a combination of ultrasonic instruments and hand tools to clean all tooth surfaces, followed by polishing to leave teeth smooth and clean.
Recommended every 6 months, or every 3-4 months for patients with periodontal concerns.
Effective removal of hardened mineral deposits (calculus) that cannot be removed by regular brushing. Recommended when you notice visible tartar buildup along the gum line or between teeth, bleeding gums, or as part of routine hygiene maintenance.
An ultrasonic scaler uses high-frequency vibrations and water spray to break apart and flush away tartar deposits gently, without damaging the tooth enamel.
An advanced air-polishing technique that removes stubborn surface stains and soft deposits using a fine jet of air, water, and specially formulated powder. Particularly effective for discoloration from coffee, tea, red wine, or tobacco that regular cleaning cannot fully remove.
